Through creative cultural expression, education, community based-initiatives, economic development, and collaborations the Mill Creek Community Partnership is committed to the revitalization and transformation of the Mill Creek Community and its surrounding neighborhood in a faith-based environment.
It is our vision that the Mill Creek Cultural Center take its place as an anchor for the community and serve as a cultural Mecca for thought, creativity and the exchange of ideas; functioning as a catalyst to promote partnerships, economic empowerment, entrepreneurship and prosperity along with providing alternative models of excellence in the fields of education, urban re-development, arts & culture and community revitalization. A well from which Hope flows; where laughter and dreams will permeate the atmosphere; a place where creative expression, cultural traditions and knowledge will be dispersed and lifetime memories are made.
The Partnership is committed to the revitalization and renovation of the historic Mill Creek Arts and Cultural Center located at 4624 Lancaster Avenue, in West Philadelphia and its surrounding community. We honor this building for what it used to be, for the way it has withstood the test of time and for the many great people who worked, struggled and dreamed within its walls.
